Scheduled Maintenance and Repairs

Manufacturer-standard scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs are included in the rent.

Tracking the maintenance schedule of your leased vehicles, booking appointments, taking them to the workshop and back, and following up invoices creates a serious workload in a fleet. With Leader Fleet that entire workload stays with us: when a vehicle is due for service based on mileage and age, we call you and organise it.

Scheduled maintenance is carried out to manufacturer standards at our authorised or partner service centres and is included in your rent. Your monthly cost is known from the start; unexpected maintenance invoices never disrupt your cash flow.

Scope of service

  • Mileage and time tracking against the manufacturer maintenance schedule
  • Engine oil, filters, brake and suspension checks
  • Mechanical and electronic repairs caused by breakdowns
  • Appointment organisation across the authorised and partner service network
  • Replacement vehicle support for the duration of the service
  • All work and invoice records kept in one place

How does the process work?

  1. Maintenance tracking The mileage and last service date of the vehicle are monitored in our system; as the service date approaches we inform the driver and your fleet manager.
  2. Appointment and referral An appointment is booked at an authorised or partner workshop in the city where the vehicle is located, at a time that suits the driver.
  3. Work and approval If a fault outside the maintenance scope is found, you are informed before repair; no additional approval is needed for work within scope.
  4. Delivery and record The vehicle is handed back and the work is added to its history. You can access the full maintenance history throughout the leasing term.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is scheduled maintenance invoiced separately?

No. Scheduled maintenance and repairs within the scope defined in the contract are included in the monthly rent and are not invoiced separately.

Will our work be disrupted while the vehicle is in the workshop?

A replacement vehicle is provided for the duration of the service, so your field and sales teams keep working.

Can we have maintenance done at our own preferred workshop?

To preserve the warranty and keep records consistent, maintenance must be carried out at the authorised or partner workshops we refer you to. If there is no suitable workshop in your area, an alternative is agreed together.

Is damage caused by driver error also covered?

Scheduled maintenance and wear from normal use are covered. Accident damage is handled within the damage management process, and misuse by the user is assessed under the terms of the contract.
